Jazz Lab - Open Rehearsal Booking

Service Description

Book a timeslot in half hr increments for our open rehearsal space on Thursday nights. You may make use of the baby grand piano & 3 vocal microphones, as well as the 8 input mixer & sound system. Build your following in real time at a real live music venue! Conditions of hire: By booking a slot, you agree to the following conditions: 1. You are responsible and liable for any and all damages or incidents that may occur to the venue or its equipment or patrons during the period of your booking hire. This includes but is not limited to furniture damage, glass damage, water damage, damage to electrical equipment, or injury to yourselves or others that may result from your activities. Public liability insurance is recommended. 2. Your booking time includes set up and black down, please ensure you book sufficient time. 3. If you cannot make your booking for whatever reason, you must notify us at least 48 hours prior so we can free the slot for others. Failure to appear for booked slots without sufficient cancellation notice will incur a $50 penalty per slot booked. 4. This rehearsal space may not be used for promotion of performances at other venues, verbally, in print media (for example, flyers for events) or otherwise. For the avoidance of doubt, refrain from referring to other venues during your rehearsal. Failure to do so will affect your ability to book the space in the future. 5. Booking preferences will be given to those with an upcoming performance at Ambassador Bar. Please mention this to us in your booking or via email so we can prioritise your booking! 6. Ambassador Bar reserves the right to terminate bookings at any time without penalty. 7. Tickets or cover charges cannot be charged for this booking. This is an open rehearsal, and members of the public are encouraged to attend.
